“This was an excellent course! Everything I expected and more. Scott took the time to explain everything and was very supportive with all questions, he had lots of helpful hints and signposted me to helpful places to buy materials. Based in such an idyllic area sue and Scott were very friendly and helpful with the best home made cake! Will definitely be going back for another course. Thank you 😊”
Absolutely brilliant! I did the 2 day upcyling pallet course and had Scott all to myself on the first day! Both Scott and Sue are great and the homemade cake and biscuits were a fab bonus! I would have liked to have taken some notes to refer to in the future, so maybe some printed handouts on hints and tips and the different tools would be really helpful? I would throughly recommend any course with Black Paw . Can’t wait to book up again!
I had a really lovely day with a couple of others in Scott’s workshop. It was fun and friendly and Scott is very knowledgeable, skilled and great at sharing his knowledge with others. I made a small set of shelves which I’m very proud of and learnt a lot about the use of tools, including how to use them safely. I’d love to go back and learn more.
I booked the experience for a friends birthday and it was a great day, really relaxed and informative. Scott is an excellent tutor and we learnt a lot of useful tips about pallets and tools.
Thank you to Scot and Sue for a fantastic day. My daughter and I learnt so much on the upcycling pallet workshop, we left feeling more confident in using various tools and the skills in which to create many projects. Can’t recommend this course highly enough, my daughter said it was the best workshop she’d ever done It inspired us both
My daughter and I did the one day pallet upcycling course with Scott and had a thoroughly amazing time. Scott has a wealth of knowledge and soon had us breaking pallets apart using different techniques. Then using our reclaimed wood we set about de-nailing, measuring, sawing, drilling, screwing and sanding to create a unique item to take away with us. I’ve never used power tools before and it was such fun and even better it’s given me the bug to go and get my own pallets and break out the tools from the garage. Thank you so much Scott and Sue, you have an amazing workshop, a great way of teaching and very tasty cakes.”
